Customers Rally Behind Terry Garnett’s Propane Safety Checks

If you see those familiar bright red trucks in your neighborhood they just may be doing more than delivering the finest propane in Central Texas!

Austin and Central Texas families have been enthusiastically supporting Terry Garnett’s Propane in their 2011 Safety and Efficiency Initiative. This program has been designed to provide customers with evaluative analysis of their energy systems to ensure each customers is getting the most dollar value from their energy usage patterns as well as spotlighting individual attention on each component in the propane delivery system.

“Having the propane experts from Terry Garnett’s go over each element of our system has been good for our peace of mind” said one homeowner from Wimberley.

“My husband and I have two kids, seven and nine, and believe me, when it’s bath time we want to know our hot water heater is working. Once I found out propane provides hot water instantly on demand I was sold! Plus, money is tight in our budget. I want to know we are getting the best value for the dollar.”

“Our driver helped us track and watch the amount of propane we were using. We found it was time for a new stove and that the money we’d save would actually pay for the new appliance in time.”

“I was also surprised to learn little energy efficiency tips such as putting a dry towel in the clothes dryer with each load of wet clothes. The dry towel adsorbs dampness and reduces drying time. I never would have thought of that until our driver mentioned that during the efficiency analysis.”

How would we want to be treated… that’s how we treat each customer.”

Every time we receive a phone call or email from our customers at Terry Garnett’s Propane it is highly appreciated. Since our beginnings over 30 years ago it has been (and remains) our mission to serve our friends and customers.

We’d like to thank all of the members of the Terry Garnett’s Propane team for all of the good work they do to coordinate, facilitate, and deliver the finest propane services in Texas.

To our customers, the voice of Terry Garnett’s Propane is the voice that answers their phone call. The face of our company is the person who delivers their propane in a professional and courteous manner. Our team deserves the credit and we are proud of all of their achievements.

Hello..I’ve never used you before but have heard wonderful things about your company. Yes I’m in a bind. We moved into this house back in May and continued to use the vendor that was currently being used at this residence. I should have known from the beginning but I just wrote it off as a bad day..The driver overfilled our tank and I guess you know the rest of the story. What a mess throughout the whole house. At the time we were told it was a bad gauge and should be replaced but of course it couldn’t be replaced because the tank was now full. We were told to let the tank run completely out so that the gauge could be replaced before being filled. Well that is what we did. Giving them notice all week that we were very low and would be out within a day or so. So now we are out and you guessed it, they have all kinds of problems and are not sure when they will get here. At this point all I need is some propane to run my household on. We can wait till spring to change the gauge. It didn’t make any difference they still have not made it out and we are now talking about day 2. Would you please give me a call as soon as you possibly can so that I could make arrangements for you to look at this tank. Again, I know it is a busy time of year and we can wait till another time to change out the gauge if needed. I just really need some propane. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

One of our drivers, Bob, went way beyond the call of duty to help a customer – read the story below:

I would like to thank Bob for being the fabulous snake slayer for me on Friday the10th of September 2010.
We are a new customer to Garnetts Propane, while I was waiting for Bob to arrive to our weekend home to service the propane tank and give the house a propane blessing. I came across a snake in one of the closets. I thought it was a rattle snake, and try as I may I was unsuccessful in removing the beast. SO I called your office and spoke to Sarah. (In hind sight this is pretty funny) , I asked her if the driver had a gun? After a brief hesitation she responded with a very calm “a what?? , a gun, on a propane truck ,,,, no.” So I asked if he was any good with snakes because I had one in the closet and I think it is a Rattler!!!. Well to make this shorter. Sarah stated that he may be able to help and wished me good luck. SOOO Bob got There, I did the girl thing and said ” Do you know how to kill a snake cuz I got one?” And try as he may he did everything he could to keep it alive, but I was busy trying to smash it’s tail, and I am sure Bob can fill you in on the event.

Bottom line, I have nothing but good things to say about your company and service.
Your prices are higher but well worth it when it comes to the customer service.I had made a phone call to [n ame withheld] when I was looking for a vendor. That woman was a first class B$@#h but she was cheaper. However the way I see it you get what you pay for. Thank you for being a great company with values and customers in mind. You guys ROCK!!
